The 6 S's We Practice at
Enon Grove
The 6 S's allow our church to create an atmosphere where people can grow a healthy relationship with God and others, and become more like Jesus Christ. The 6 S's are, in broad strokes, the essential marks of someone devoted to Christ and His church.
Salvation
We want everyone to make the life-changing decision to commit their lives to Jesus in salvation, trusting Him for the forgiveness of sins. After we have received Jesus as our Savior, we follow up our commitment by being baptized as a follower of Jesus, and joining the church.
Spiritual Growth
We should desire to grow spiritually through these spiritual disciplines: weekly worship attendance, reading and studying the Bible, building our prayer skills, and maturing our character into Christlikeness.
Sunday School
In Sunday School on Sunday mornings, we study the Bible and apply it to our lives, minister to class members, develop friendships, and reach out to persons who are not in a class.
Service
At Enon Grove we use our gifts, abilities, and life's experiences to serve God and people through the ministry of our church.
Stewardship
We give our tithes and offerings sacrificially and regularly to God and our church so that the Lord's work can be done in greater ways.
Spreading the Good News
We give to, and involve ourselves in, missions and personal outreach to those who have not yet come to Jesus.
These 6 S's are our
expectations of one another
at Enon Grove.
